More than a month after practices started, it all cleared out for the Baldwinsville girls golf team as it participated in a string of matches during the April school break.

Two days later, B’ville took on Cicero-North Syracuse’s Blue team at Northern Pines, and though its scores improved, the Bees still fell to the Northstars 189-199.
Shooting a 47, Colleen Vredenburg was four shots behind C-NS Blue’s Abby Ainsworth. Brushingham managed a 48, with Cara Vredenburg getting a 51and Margaret Dec shot a 53. Amy Krohl (47), Lexi Miller (48) and Morgan Siechen (51) helped the Northstars stay out in front.
In a rematch with Liverpool Thursday at Timber Banks, B’ville lost again, this one a 139-150 decision where Brushingham shot a 35 and Tse put together a 36, yet both trailed the Avotins sisters as Mia got a 29 and Natalya was one shot worse with a 30.
