On Saturday, Oct. 19, Jamesville-DeWitt High School’s boys soccer teams will take part in the 10th annual Sally A. Lock charity game.
The event will benefit Coaches vs. Cancer and the American Cancer Society.
The junior varsity game will start at 11 a.m. and the varsity game will begin at 2 p.m.
A check presentation will take place between the two games.
The annual game has been held since the fall of 2010, when Sally Lock was battling ovarian cancer for the second time in four years. Lock later passed away that December, and the event organized by her brother and district computer technician Paul Krause has since been named after her.
To donate to the cause, contact Krause at 315-445-8227, extension 1527 for more information. His email is [email protected].
According to Krause, the fundraising goal for this year is $10,000.
