The 2016 holiday edition of Syracuse Woman Magazine, a publication of Eagle News, highlights some of the females behind two Cazenovia businesses: Critz Farms and Empire Brewing Company.
The issue, which focuses on shopping and eating local this holiday season, has as its cover photo and story Juanita Critz, co-owner of Critz Farms in Cazenovia. The article, “A lesson in Agri-Education,” by magazine editor Lorna Oppedisano, examines Critz’s life and education and how her calling as an educator has helped establish Critz Farms on Rippleton Road as a major agritourism destination in Central New York.
This month’s issue of Syracuse Woman Magazine also features a special section on Women of Beer, in which 11 employees of Empire Brewing Company — at both its Syracuse and Cazenovia locations — are identified and interviewed on what it’s like to be part of the Empire family.
A sister publication to the highly successful Rochester Woman Magazine, Syracuse Woman Magazine will feature locally produced content that spotlights professional women in the Syracuse market as well as local businesses and products of interest to local women. The goal of the magazine is to inform, inspire and entertain the women of Syracuse and Central New York.
Free copies of Syracuse Woman Magazine can be found in Cazenovia at the Cazenovia Republican office and at Common Grounds, both located at 59 Albany St., and at the Cazenovia Public Library.
