You don’t need to be Picasso to help a shelter pet!
The first ever “Painting for Paws” will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8 at Basta on the River, 7 Syracuse St., Baldwinsville. The cost is $35 per person and a can of dog or cat food. A cash bar will be available. Proceeds will benefit the CNYSPCA.
No artistic ability is required, but you’ll magically create a beautiful work of art suitable for framing to take home. You’ll also meet some wonderful pets who are looking for their “FURever” families while having fun with friends who also want to make a difference in the lives of these very special animals.
There is limited seating, so pre-registration & payment are required by August 1. RSVP by emailing [email protected]. Checks can be made payable to GR8Show and can be mailed to Sharon Lynn Specialties, 7 W. Genesee Street, Baldwinsville, NY 13027. Tickets are also available online (please note a $2.92 service fee) at paintingforpaws.eventbrite.com
Sip some wine, paint a masterpiece, laugh with friends, and support homeless pets — what a great way to spend an evening!
