From the Liverpool Public Library: Help LPL feed the birds

By Mark Bialczak

LPL Communications Specialist

There’s something uplifting about spotting a gorgeous bird in the winter.

We think so at the Liverpool Public Library, so we make sure that our feeder on the Dinosaur Garden lawn helps keep the village of Liverpool’s feathered friends full come these colder months.

We’ll accept birdseed donations throughout January under the holiday tree in the Carman Community Room. We’ll take suet bells, too. Please make sure the seed and suet bells are securely packaged in a bag.

Our custodial staff will use the donated seed and bells to fill the feeder located adjacent to the Wildlife Habitat Garden on the Second Street side of the building.

The community is always invited to take a seat on the Dinosaur Garden benches to view the birds and other wildlife that makes itself feel at home in the green (and white in the winter) space.
