As far as regular-season finales go, the girls basketball game between Baldwinsville and Cicero-North Syracuse next Thursday night at Baker High School has few equals.
Plenty is on the line, from the Salt City Athletic Conference Metro division regular-season championship to a possible top seed in the Section III Class AA playoffs.

B’ville’s girls opened a hoops doubleheader with Liverpool Tuesday night, and unlike the boys game decided in the final seconds, these Bees put things away quite early in an 80-49 victory.
For this game, the Bees donned special pink jerseys to go with the boys team wearing throwbacks in their game against Liverpool.
All told, they raised more than $2,900 for Maureen’s Hope, a foundation dedicated to offering support and assistance to those facing cancer or other life-threatening illnesses.

It was 67-30 after three periods as Ola Bednarczyk put in 18 points, with Hannah Mimas and Jordan Roy each getting 11 points, Sydney Huhtala and Megan Brecht nearly got to double figures, too, both getting nine points as Kyrah Wilbur finished with eight points.
On Friday, B’ville’s game with Henninger was snowed out, so it would need to make up that game and then take on Corcoran Tuesday before the clash with C-NS.
