IC sixth graders receive end-of-year awards

The Sixth Grade Graduating Class family breakfast was held at the Immaculate Conception church Dwyer Hall on June 21, during which the Attorney General’s Award and the New York State Comptroller’s Achievement Award were given to students. The Attorney General’s Award emphasizes the three C’s: Character, Courage and Commitment. That award was presented to Ellrose Hanlon, James Fallon, Jack Sommers and Isabella D’Ambrosio. Also presented was the New York State Comptroller’s Achievement Award, given to Luke Davidson. This was award is presented to a student who excelled academically and has also shown leadership potential by volunteering his time to serve the school or community.
