The Class of 1976’s Reunion Organizing Committee put out a request this past January for donations in support of a memorial maker and tree to be placed on the grounds of C.W. Baker High School. This committee also sought and received the approval of the school district’s board and impacted staff. Thanks to the generosity of dozens of classmates, the above pictured Crimson King Maple and bronze and granite maker are now in place. Their dedication ceremony will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, in the middle of this class’s 40th reunion weekend. Anyone interested in attending the dedication service or other reunion events is asked to find more information in the reunions flyer at tinyurl.com/z4gksfo
