Liverpool — The Liverpool Dollars for Scholars’ annual Phone-a-thon/Mail-a-thon will be held Sunday, March 6. More than 100 student volunteers will make phone calls and mail letters to seek donations for scholarships awarded to Liverpool High School graduating seniors. With continued support from the community, Liverpool Dollars for Scholars is proud to announce that we have awarded nearly 4,400 scholarships worth more than $1.5 million since 1970.
Current LHS seniors have the month of March to complete an online profile, apply for scholarships and submit those online applications for more than 200 scholarships designated for students in the Class of 2016. The entire online process must be completed by 11:59 p.m. Friday, April 1. Go to liverpooldfs.org for additional information and instructions.
Liverpool High School graduates are fortunate to live in a community that supports the educational aspirations of its students. Each donation, regardless of size, gets us closer to our goal of a scholarship for every college bound student. Money received by April 15 will fund scholarships for this year’s graduates; money received after that date will go toward scholarships for students in the Class of 2017. Questions?
