The Skaneateles Press will be the official newspaper for the Skaneateles Central School District during the 2012-13 school year, the Skaneateles Board of Education voted at its July 2 reorganizational meeting.
This will be a return to official town newspaper status for the Press after a five-year hiatus. The paper lost its official status for the 2007-08 school year and for the next four years.
The school board unanimously agreed on the return to the Press during its annual vote on appointments for district personnel, policies and procedures.
