Gail Koglmeier died on March 10, 2021, at the Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. Gail was diagnosed on Sept. 1, 2016, with leukemia. Gail fought bravely and completely against the disease. Gail never for one minute gave up.
Gail will always be remembered by family and friends, not just for how she fought against the disease, but also how she lived her life, before and during the disease. Gail was adventurous, and had lived on three different continents.
Gail eventually moved to Cazenovia to start a B&B, which is where she met her husband, Don. Gail was kind, patient and loving. Gail was able to find the good in people. She was a loving parent of five children and their spouses. She was a wonderful grandparent of 16 grandchildren. She was a lifelong friend to many people covering three continents.
She was an inspiration, and will not soon be forgotten. There will be a memorial service for Gail on July 24, 2021, at 11 a.m. at St. James Church in Cazenovia.
