Jane E. Fallon passed away on March 12, 2021, at her home in Cazenovia. She was predeceased by her husband, attorney William J. Fallon, her parents Edward and Mary Eagan and her brother First Lt. Edward Eagan who was shot down in his 51st mission as a B17 navigator over the Ploesti oil fields, Budapest Hungary on July 14, 1944.
She is survived by her children: Mary Bigsby (Arthur), Siobhan Hogan (Peter), Sheila Fallon, William Fallon and Megan Fallon; her grandchildren: Dr. Arthur Bigsby (Kelly), Siobhan Wright (Brian), William Bigsby, Bernadette Hogan, Peter Hogan, Elizabeth Bigsby and Sinead Hogan; great granddaughter Fallon Bigsby and her sister and best friend, Sheila Eagan Shattuck.
Jane was a graduate of the Convent School and Georgian Court College. She worked for Eagan Real Estate and Catholic Charities before marrying Bill and raising her family. She was a voracious reader, avid golfer, gardener and bird watcher. Jane had great faith, a wonderful sense of humor, and was completely devoted to her family.
Calling hours were Monday, March 15 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Newell-Fay Manlius Chapel, 8171 Cazenovia Road, Manlius. Mass of Christian Burial was planned for Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. James Church, Cazenovia. Burial will be made in St. James Cemetery, Cazenovia.
