CAZENOVIA – Timothy R. Collins, 40, of Cazenovia, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021, at Strong Memorial Hospital with his loving family by his side. He was born July 11, 1980, in Syracuse to Russell and Nancy Collins and was a graduate of Cazenovia High School in 1998. Tim attended SUNY Morrisville and earned his certificate in automobile mechanics from Universal Technical Institute in Orlando, FL. He had been employed for 10 years as a master mechanic with Audi Cicero service center at Driver’s Village. Tim enjoyed quality cars, spending time with his friends, and hiking, especially near waterfalls. He was adored by his two dogs, Lilly and Bruno.
He is survived by his parents, Russell and Nancy Collins of Cazenovia; his siblings, David (Jen) Collins of New Woodstock, Jennifer Collins of Cazenovia, Rebecca Collins of Odessa, TX, Matthew (Ashley) Collins of Essex Junction, VT, Emily (Matthew) Valzania of Ocean Springs, MS and Sarah (David) Podeswik of Syracuse, several aunts and uncles as well as three nephews and six nieces who affectionally referred to Tim as their “favorite uncle”. He was predeceased by his sister, Amy Beach in 2001.
A calling hour will be held from 2 to 3 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021 at Michael E. Brown Funeral Services, 2333 Fenner Road, Cazenovia. Funeral services are private, burial will be in the spring at Evergreen Cemetery in Cazenovia.
