Theresa Fish passed peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 6, after a brief stay at The Commons Rehabilitation Center in Auburn, N.Y., where she was treated with compassion and love.
Theresa was an adoring and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was born in Syracuse on Dec. 28, 1929, to Walter and Mary Kolodziejczyk. Her life’s greatest joy was her family. She enjoyed birdwatching, gardening, country drives, “going out for a bite to eat” and especially sunny days with blues skies and white puffy clouds.
Theresa was known to be a very thoughtful, kind and loving individual who could make others feel they were special.
Predeceased by her husband Donald of 61 years in January of 2013, she is survived by her son Michael (Marilyn), daughters Deb Williams (Sharon Lyke) and Mary Phillips. Also surviving are grandsons Michael and Eric Phillips and her siblings Helen Kolodziejczyk (Carol), Joni Kolodziejczyk (Lynn), Frank Kolodziejczyk (Margot) and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13, at Robert D. Gray Funeral Home, Skaneateles. A private service for immediate family will follow. Masks are required and limited entrance into the building at one time.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to the Laker Transportation Project, PO Box 644, Skaneateles, NY.
