Mary Natalie Eckmair (Nan), 88 of Cazenovia, passed away on May 20, 2019, in the town of Fairhaven, MA.
A funeral mass will be held at 9 a.m. on June 1 at the St. James Catholic Church, 6 Green St., Cazenovia, followed by a graveside service at St. James Cemetery, 4539 Lincklaen St., Cazenovia.
Nan was born in Little Falls, N.Y., daughter of Elroy and Helyn Ledger on Dec. 19, 1930. She attended school in New Hartford, N.Y., where she spent the majority of her childhood. Nan was married to her life partner John Eckmair, Jr, (deceased) and is survived by her four children, Timothy John Eckmair of Charlotte, NC, Marianne Cadwell of Cooksville, TN, Diane Hoe of Montebello, N.Y., and Debra Ankner of Fairhaven, MA. Nan is also survived by six grandchildren who knew her affectionately as Mimi.
Nan was well known in Cazenovia where she worked in the accounting office for Buyeas Hardware Store for over 35 years. Nan enjoyed knitting and cross-stitch, summers in the Adirondacks and spending time with her family and friends.
