David G. Madison, 62, of Fayetteville, passed away with his wife by his side on Jan. 28, 2018. David was born in Syracuse on March 28, 1955 to the late John and Catherine Madison.
David retired in 2011. In his free time, he loved music, poetry and old movies. He was a member of the Auburn Ancient Order of Hibernians in America.
David was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John Madison and Paul Madison. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Charlene M. Madison; three sisters Erin (Horst) Hoffman, Mary (Miquel) Rodriguez-Gort, and Shannon (Thomas) Kane; three step-daughters, Kimberly (Dean) Vanderwege, Theresa (Douglas) Reaume, and Heather Yablonski; a step-son, Scott (Kimberly) Lee; grandchildren, Dean, Marcus, Amber, Jessica, Brett, Jacob, Alexandra and Amanda; and great-grandchildren; J.J, Graeson and Jayden.
Family and friends called from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018 at New Comer Cremations and Funerals-North Syracuse, where funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Interment will be made at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Fayetteville.
