Avelina Coronado Quiroga, a loving mother, amazing woman and life teacher died Friday, Oct. 7, 2016, at the age of 87. She was born on March 10, 1929, in Peru and leaves a great legacy of unconditional love and simple but powerful teachings about the beauty and uncomplicated, long lasting power of life’s most precious gifts. Her family and friends knew her as always smiling, making great food and providing powerful traditions. Avelina had a love for learning and taught how to be the best you can be as a human being.
Avelina is survived by her husband, Jose Coronado; her sons, Juan, Marco, Eduardo, Armando and Daniel; a daughter, Adelina and a long list of family in various parts of the world.
Friends visited with Avelina’s family from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12, at Marco Coronado and Liz Moran’s home in Cazenovia.
