Mrs. Jeanne Anne Fryer, 87, died Oct. 2, 2016 at her daughter’s home in Vero Beach, Fla.
She was born in Lysander and lived in Vero Beach since 2012 coming from Port St. Lucie after living in Quakertown, PA for over 30 years.
Jeanne was a secretary and bookkeeper for several different companies in the Baldwinsville and Quakertown areas.
She started and was the director of the Christmas Bureau in Baldwinsville, serving underprivileged children of the area. Jeanne also was a volunteer tutor for reading and very active as a PTA officer and was the volunteer coordinator at Quakertown Hospital, Quakertown, PA.
Survivors include her daughters Michelle Anne Fryer Dommel of Port St. Lucie and Shari Elizabeth Brown (Walter) of Vero Beach, grandchildren Lindsay Anne Ely, James Mitchell Ely and Rachel Anne Fryer Dommel, and niece Sue Anne Walker (James) as well as several other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James Nelson Fryer, in 2003.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908 in memory of Jeanne Fryer.
Arrangements are under the direction of Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory, Vero Beach.
