Edward Abdo, 86

Edward Samuel Abdo, 86, formerly of Syracuse, died September 15, 2016 in Port Orange, FL.. He was the son of the late Sam and Suria Abdo of Syracuse. Predeceased by a sister, Melvena Delucca, and brothers, Alex Abdo and Nick Abdo. Ed is survived by his wife, Joyce, daughters, Robin Lasky and Carrie Lasky, son, Tom Abdo, a sister Rose Lousgnitski of Syracuse, along with several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Ed graduated from Nottingham High School and worked in the family business, Abdo Markets and Shaffer Brewing, before moving to Florida while remaining a loyal fan of SU sports.
A memorial service was held on Sept. 24, 2016, in Port Orange, FL.
