Sally Kerr Frank, 77

Sally Kerr Frank, 77, formerly of Skaneateles and Syracuse, passed away on September 13, 2016.
Born in Cortland, N.Y., Sally was the daughter of the late Alexander and Hazel Kerr.  She graduated as salutatorian of her class at Cortland High School and pursued a career in nursing, graduating from University of Rochester School of Nursing in 1959. It was there that Sally met Donald Frank and the couple later married, raising two sons.
Sally’s nursing career took her several places, including People Systems, Community General Hospital and Aetna in Syracuse.  Her love of helping others extended outside of nursing as she worked as an EMT, fundraising volunteer at SAVES and former president of the Skaneateles Symphony Guild.
Sally is survived by her sons, Andrew and his wife Colleen, and Ian and his wife Eve; her grandchildren, Griffin, Devin, Alex and Erin; her sister, Martha Barhite; and her former husband, Donald Frank.
