Beginning in the month of August, The Fairmount Community Library will be expanding their services in an effort to meet the needs of patrons and families. Printing, scanning and copying service is now being offered. Job requests can be made by contacting the library at 315-487-8933, or sending an order via email to [email protected].
In addition, the following programs will be offered by the library through the month of August. Monday, August 3 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM Visit our table at the Camillus Farmers Market located at 4600 West Genesee Street. Update us on your progress with our Imagine Your Story Summer Reading program and receive giveaways and prizes. FREE and open to the public.
Tuesday, August 4 at 9:30 AM Miss Karen hosts Preschool Storytime & Crafts on Facebook Live on the Fairmount Library Facebook page. These fun storytimes introduce early readers to literacy concepts, character development, and even math! Fun crafts using household items will also encourage summer learning. FREE and ONLINE.
Wednesday, August 5 Pick-up kits at the library from Noon to 5:00 PM for participation in our virtual Summer Learning program. Advanced registration is required. Follow Miss Jessica’s educational weekly videos at fairmountlibrary.org/children. Each lesson coincides with a kit that can be picked up weekly at the library. The program supports summer reading, science and STEAM lessons. Fun and FREE for the entire family.
