The Manlius Town Democratic Committee is hosting an open forum of Democratic candidates for the fall 2018 elections at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, in the Manlius Town Board Room, 301 Brooklea Drive, Fayetteville.
The participating candidates are:
•Dana Balter, Congressional Representative, United States Congress (opposing incumbent John Katko).
•Toby Shelby, Onondaga County Sheriff.
•Michael Montes, Onondaga County Sheriff.
•Joe Chiarenza, Senator, New York State.
•Cort Ruddy, campaign manager, will be in attendance for Albert Stirpe, Assemblyman, New York State Legislature, who is unable to attend.
