During a heavy rain in June we experienced a drainage problem causing a “river” of muddy runoff from a nearby property that traveled down our driveway and into our yard.
During that rainstorm I contacted Doug Foster. He promptly responded and looked into the situation. Mr. Foster quickly understood the dynamics and took action to temporarily solve the problem.
He then took the time to talk to us to discuss further options. His recommendation was to have the town engineer further evaluate the area and develop a plan. Within a short time Mr. Foster described to us the best solution. He also contacted our neighbors to explain the next step. Again, we saw a fast response that consisted of underground piping and re-grading the area to provide proper drainage.
Now completed, it not only working well but looks very natural and appropriate to the site.
We are writing this to compliment the great service from the highway department. We are fortunate to have Mr. Foster as our highway superintendent. He is an effective communicator, very service orientated, and efficient.
