The town of Cicero in conjunction with North Syracuse Little league have scheduled a park improvements, field and playground dedication for Skyway Park on East Taft Road for 9 a.m. Saturday, May 20.
The park improvements include expanded concession stand and restrooms, two new fields and phase one of the community playground.
The town is also honoring and dedicating three fields to individuals who have made significant contributions to both the original Taft Road Little League and current North Syracuse Little League. The three individuals to be honored are Jim DeLine (1963), Heinz Hermann (1996) and Tom Erwin (2017).
The town welcomes the community to celebrate all the accomplishments made possible through funding opportunities from Senator David Valesky, Assemblyman Al Stirpe, County Legislators Debra Cody and Tim Burtis, and the Cicero Town Board.
