The DeWitt Police Department reports that today at about 3:30pm, officers responded to a bank robbery at Citizens Bank, located at 6770 E. Genesee St.
It was reported that a white male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, black pants, a face covering and a black winter hat entered the bank and displayed a handgun to employees, ultimately stealing money from the bank.
No one was injured due to the incident.
The DeWitt Police Department Criminal Investigations Division is currently and actively investigating the robbery.
