MANLIUS – Manlius police have arrested two people in connection with a home invasion robbery that occurred at a residence on West Manlius Street in the village of Manlius on the evening of Tuesday, Feb. 23.
At 6:47 p.m., Manlius police were dispatched and quickly determined that two suspects had broken open the door to the residence and a female victim had been assaulted, injured and robbed inside her home while her two children, both under the age of 16, were with her. The victim was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Two suspects, known to the victim, were identified and officers immediately made efforts to locate and arrest the suspects. At that time, there was no danger to the community-at-large as the incident was not random and specifically related to a dispute between the involved parties.
After an investigation, around 2 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 24, town of Manlius police officers located and arrested the two suspects at their residence at the Westminster Place Apartments, 7475 Morgan Road, Liverpool.
Zachary R. Bambrick, 22, was charged with robbery, burglary and conspiracy. Asiah R. Lodman, a 22-year-old female, was charged with robbery, burglary, criminal mischief and assault. Lodman is related to the victim.
Both suspects were transported to the Onondaga County Justice Center and held pending their arraignments.
