Morrisville man arrested on multiple drug charges

A Morrisville man has been arrested on more than one dozen drug-related charges, including his alleged intentions to sell narcotics and controlled substance in a residence occupied by a child.

According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, on February 26, investigators arrested and charged Vance Harley Tallman, 24, of Cedar Street, Morrisville, with 2 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree (Class B Felonies) , 5 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th degree (Class D Felonies), 5 counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th degree (Class A Misdemeanors), 1 count of Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the 2nd degree (Class A Misdemeanor), Unlawful Possession of Marihuana (Violation) 1 count of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th degree and 1 count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

It is alleged that Tallman possessed 2 large bags of heroin, (24) morphine pills, several bags containing methamphetamine, several vials containing concentrated cannabis, cocaine, marihuana, a gravity knife and drug packaging paraphernalia.  It is also alleged that Tallman possessed narcotics and controlled substances with the intent to sell them in a residence occupied by a child.

Tallman was arraigned at the Village of Morrisville Court and remanded to the Madison County Jail in lieu of $20,000 cash bail or $40,000 bond. He is scheduled to return to court at a later date to answer the charges.
