The DeWitt Police Department has reported the arrest of five juveniles in relation to multiple larceny from vehicle complaints and two stolen vehicle complaints.
Police say at about 12:08 a.m. on April 26, officers responded to Lynacres Boulevard after receiving word a larceny from a vehicle had just occurred. Upon arrival officers located five juvenile subjects and after further investigation, it was determined that the subjects had committed multiple larcenies from vehicles in the area over the last two days and had stolen two vehicles in the last two days.
Police say they were able to locate much of the stolen property as well as the two stolen vehicles. The five juveniles were arrested and charged with grand larceny in the third degree, petit larceny and conspiracy in the sixth degree.
The police are currently processing the property and stolen vehicles and working to return them to their owners.
