Madison County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Investigators, working with the Village of Hamilton Police Department, wrapped up a one-month investigation into the alleged sales of bath salts on April 19 with the arrest of Brice B. Eaton, 21, of Hamilton.
Eaton was taken into custody by investigators after a sale was witnessed in the parking lot of a fast food establishment in the village.
He was arraigned in Hamilton Village Court on charges of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, a D felony; criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fifth degree, a D felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, an A misdemeanor.
Eaton is remanded to Madison County Jail in lieu of $3,000 cash bail or $6,000 bond. He will appear in Madison County Court on April 27 to answer his charges.
