Katherine Mulligan, a graduate of East Syracuse Minoa Central High School, was recently honored for her performance on the AP Studio Art: Drawing Portfolio Exam while she was an ESM senior. She was one of only 16 students in the world to earn every point possible on the exam. The exam is scored on a scale of 1 to 5.
Mulligan was honored at a recent ESM Board of Education meeting after returning home from college.
“Katie is one of the most talented young artists that I’ve worked with. This talent, combined with a work ethic that is second to none, has put her where she is today. She more than earned the honor to be recognized as part of such a prestigious and select group, it,” said ESM Art teacher Matthew Cincotta.
