INSIDE—Drop-In Tech Help | Mondays, January 10th, 17th, 24th & 31st from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM: Let us help with your tech questions: computers and mobile devices, downloading e-content from the library’s catalog, using Google Drive and social media platforms! INSIDE—Sensory Play: Bathtime | Friday, January 7th at 10:30 AM: Join us on the first Friday of every month for a special program for toddlers. Each child will receive a bin filled with a variety of different textures to sort through and practice matching colors, letters, or concepts. Location: Library Hall. For kids 18 months – 3 years. INSIDE—Elementary School Book Club | Sunday, January 9th at 2:30 PM: This month we’re reading Anne of Green Gables: A Graphic Novel adapted by Mariah Marsden. Each month we’ll read a book or graphic novel and then get together to chat about the book and do an activity. Pick up your copy of the book curbside. Location: Library Hall. INSIDE—Minecraft Workshop: Epic Houses | Thursdays, January 20th, 27th & February 3rd at 4:00 PM: Learn how to create epic houses in Minecraft Education Edition. Each session is taught by a Minecraft expert who will open each session with a lesson and then help participants build using our laptops. Location: Library Hall. For ages 8 – 12. Registration for the entire session required. Limited to 10 kids.
INSIDE—Chess Club | Mondays, January 24th, 31st & February 7th at 4:00 PM: Learn to play chess at the library! During this fall session, kids will learn the basics of chess. Led by a teen volunteer, the session is a combination of lessons about the different chess pieces, the rules of the game, and simple strategies combined with games and chess play. Location: Library Hall. For ages 8 – 12. Registration for the entire session required. Limited to 10 kids.

ONLINE—Library Board Annual Meeting | Thursday, January 27th at 6:30 PM: The Library Board is made up of community members who volunteer their time and skills to further the mission of the library. All meetings are open, and the public is welcome to attend. This month we’re having our annual meeting with a regular meeting to follow.
