On March 16 the Town of Nelson decided that the Nelson Town office will be closed for two weeks and perhaps longer depending on exposure risks.
The town has put its highway department on a two week leave and will bring staff in during emergencies or snow events.
Town court, planning, and zoning meeting are cancelled until further notice.
The town will keep residents informed of updates on the town website, Nelson-NY.org.
