New administrator appointed in West Genesee
On Aug. 1, 2018 Shelly LaMarche was appointed by the Board of Education as an administrative intern at the high school assigned to work with tenth-grade students.
She comes to us from Fayetteville-Manlius Schools where she was a first, second and fifth grade teacher. Prior to that, she also taught at Achievement Academy Charter School, Albany and in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School District in North Carolina.
LaMarche earned a bachelor of science in psychology from Le Moyne College; her master of science in childhood education from The College of Saint Rose; and her masters of science in literacy education and certificate of advanced studies in counseling from Syracuse University. In addition, she received National Board Certification in early and middle childhood literacy: Reading/Language Arts.
