On February 2nd, the Huntertones from Brooklyn, NY will be artists in esidence in the Skaneateles school district. This dynamic ensemble is performing for the elementary students in the morning, the middle school students in the afternoon, conducting improv workshops with the Middle School Jazz Lab and High School Jazz Ensemble, and being featured in a free community concert in the High School auditorium at 7:00 p.m. which will include performances by our district’s jazz ensembles.
This six-piece jazz/funk band is gaining national attention for making “great, timeless music that everybody will groove to. They’re original. They’re inspired. And they’re motivated.” (Rust Magazine)
