The Madison County Fair has announced a call for nominations for the 2018 Board of Directors.
Every year, nominations are opened up to fill seats left by board members whose terms are expiring or for those whose seats have been vacated. Residents of Madison County, along with neighboring counties (Chenango, Cortland, Herkimer, Oneida and Otsego) are eligible and can nominate themselves.
Nominees must be at least 18 years of age and have an interest in making Madison County Fair a success. Send nominations to the address below by Nov. 10, include contact information and how you could contribute to the success of the Madison County Fair.
The fair is also seeking a candidate to serve as the superintendent for the poultry department. There is always a need for enthusiastic, energetic, hardworking and dedicated volunteers to help make the Madison County Fair the best it can be.
