18th and final Race for Respect Sunday
On Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016 at noon, the West Genesee School District and the Town of Camillus will host the 18th Annual Race for Respect. (This will be the final year for the race.)
The purpose of the race/walk is to promote and celebrate mutual respect, acceptance of responsibility and community among members of our school and local communities. Race participants may choose a 4 mile or 1.5 mile route. Local business will again provide generous donations of fruit, muffins and water.
The event will be sponsored by Camillus Police Benevolent Association, Russo Produce, SYSCO Food Services, Town of Camillus, Wegmans, and Coca-Cola.
We all benefit from such an event as the Race for Respect. The event is always open to everyone who may be interested. If you have any questions please contact Shannon Coholan at WGHS at 315-487-4601.
