Sugarman Law Firm to host Wish Ball
Make-A-Wish Central New York is preparing for its annual Sugarman Law Firm Wish Ball, which this year takes place Sept. 17 in Syracuse.
This year’s gala has a “Roaring ‘20s” theme in celebration of its venue, the former Hotel Syracuse (Marriott Syracuse Downtown). Featured speaker is Wish Kid Jack Sheridan, whose wish to give his school a baseball field was granted in May. The 2016 Corporate Honorees CXtec & Teracai will also be honored during the event.
Wish Ball begins at 5:30 p.m. with cocktail hour, followed by dinner and dancing, a silent auction, a high-end basket raffle, and a Welch & Co. Jewelers raffle offering a chance to win in-store shopping sprees. The evening will recognize volunteers and donors who make wishes come true. Entertainment will be provided by the John Spillett Duo, and Central New York party band “The Horn Dogs.”
The Sugarman Law Firm Wish Ball is Make-A-Wish Central New York’s signature fundraiser, which helps ensure wishes come true for children with life-threatening medical conditions all year long. Tickets are $150 per person or $3,000 per corporate table. For more information about the event, e-mail [email protected] or call 475-WISH.
