Family:
Mom, two brothers and a sister-in-law – not married, dating.
Residence:
Village of Baldwinsville, town of Van Buren.
Occupation:
Business owner at The Energy Lounge at 21 Water St.
For how long have you been working in this position?
18 months, Aug. 1.
What are your responsibilities?
Everything — marketing, advertising, buying product to share with clients and customers, teaching workshops and Karuna and Usui Reiki certification classes, leading and doing energy/healing sessions.
Is there anything new going on?
We just combined our space into one and are offering workshops and certification classes, children are welcome, too. We also do painting sessions as well as have crystals, jewelry, candles, handmade gifts and more for all to purchase and we are open to the public.
What do you like most about your job? Least?
The people who come through the door that I have the honor of meeting and helping. We’re all teachers and students so the combination is very powerful with each person who comes to the studio.
Least? I’m not much of a morning person so the hours reflect that — we open later in the morning, like 11 or noon if I can push it.
Do you have a favorite book? If so, what and why?
“The Greatest Salesman In The World” — the message and affirmations in the book are a piece of the foundation that helped me get here and ones that I can pass on to help others.
Favorite vacation spot?
Anywhere quiet — peaceful and outside with nature is my perfect place.
If you could have lunch with anyone, living or dead, who would it be and why?
My father. He passed away 21 years ago and has been “watching” everything from above. I’d love to hear what he has to say about what I’ve been doing, my mom and brothers. Also to ask his advice and most importantly to tell him I love him and give him the biggest hug and kiss.
What is one thing most people would not know about you?
That I chaired the Taste of Baldwinsville event the last two years and this year as well. The Taste helps support the Baldwinsville Volunteer Center, which helps families in the Baldwinsville community. This year’s event is Saturday, Oct. 18, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the CNY Family Sports Center.
