Sweet treats and special promotions await you.
From 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, the merchant group of Baldwinsville invites the public to Au Chocolat, a chocolate shopping event in which customers sample a different piece of chocolate at participating boutiques while strolling through Baldwinsville’s business district.
“Join us for conviviality and hospitality as you explore the many and varied boutiques nestled within our charming historic village,” said Stephanie Boivin, one of the organizers for Au Chocolat.
In an effort to promote specialty shopping, eateries, salons and the various other businesses in Baldwinsville, this event is designed to make the consumer aware of what the village offers compared with big named stores.
“We believe that an event like this will spearhead a continuing interest in what businesses in our village have to offer,” said Boivin, who owns Sissy’s in the village. “We hope [participants] enjoy a day out filled with socializing and discover that our village offers a warm and inviting atmosphere for people to enjoy. Each place has their own individual style to offer something for everyone.”
