The village of Jordan was busy with buyers of locally produced goods Sunday, as it played host to day one of its brand new farmers market.
Four vendors set up shop behind the Masonic Lodge on North Main Street, along the Erie Canal, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Vocal quartet The Harvesters, from Strawberry Fields of Skaneateles, performed from 11 a.m. to noon.
To get involved with the farmers market, as a vendor or otherwise, contact market manager Judy Wheeler-Kinch at 243-9565. The market is planned to run Sundays through Oct. 28.
