A bicyclist riding near East Syracuse Minoa High School this morning died after being hit by a car, Manlius Police said.
The bicyclist was north on Fremont Road when he was hit by a vehicle driving east on Kirkville Road and thrown from the bike, police said.
The victim, who has not been identified, suffered severe trauma and was taken to University Hospital, where efforts to save him were unsuccessful, police said.
Manlius Police continue to investigate the scene to determine what led to the accident.
