East Syracuse Minoa voters passed the school district’s $72.1 million budget by a vote of 949 to 337 at the polls today. The approved budget calls for a tax levy increase of 1.89 percent.
Voters also elected two school board incumbents, Debra Eichholtz and D. Paul Waltz, who ran unopposed and received 1,080 votes and 1,042 votes, respectively.
The school bus proposition and propositions for the East Syracuse and Minoa public libraries also passed with ease.
