One man is dead after a serious incident in Camillus late Sunday night.
Camillus Police say a man was driving north on Route 695 when he shot himself. The vehicle went off the roadway, his some trees and rolled over.
The man appears to have died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said. He was the only occupant of the vehicle and no other cars were involved.
Camillus Police, WAVES, Camillus and Fairmount fire departments, Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police responded to the accident.
The road remained shut until 2:30 a.m. as police processed the scene.
