A Fayetteville woman was critically injured after being hit by a car on East Genesee Street in Fayetteville.
Norma Lazore, 68, was taken to Upstate University Hospital, where she is in critical condition in the intensive care unit. Police say Lazore’s vehicle was rear-ended by a vehicle being driven by Julie Carnevale, 47, of Canastota. Lazore went into the roadway to pick up pieces of the car from the minor accident when she was struck by a vehicle traveling on East Genesee Street.
No tickets have been issued in either accident.
