Two teens were charged Saturday night after a series of fights in the parking lot of Shoppingtown Mall.
DeWitt Police charged a 17-year-old with disorderly conduct and a 15-year old with obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. Police say both were a part of a large crowd of teens leaving a “Neon Nite Dance Party” at The Spot, in the mall. After letting out, police say the teens gathered in the parking lot where the fights broke out.
No one was injured in the fights, police said. The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, East Syracuse, Manlius and State Police assisted.
