The NYS Thruway Authority announced fuel service will be suspended at the DeWitt Travel Plaza beginning Monday, Sept. 26, located eastbound between exits 36 and 35.
The renovation project including new kiosks, fuel island renovations, new lighting and a new fire suppression system, is expected to wrap up by the end of October.
Until then, motorists will not be able to get gas at the DeWitt plaza at milepost 280, although restroom and restaurant services will not be interrupted.
Eastbound on I-90, motorists can find fuel at the Port Byron Travel Plaza (milepost 310), between exits 41 and 40, and at the Oneida Travel Plaza (milepost 244), between exits 33 and 32.
