Jazz guitarist Sunday in F’ville
A guitar and jazz quartet will perform for the Sunday Musicale hosted by the Motto Sheet Music Collection, at 2 p.m. Jan. 16, at Fayetteville Free Library’s reading room, 300 Orchard St. Admission is free.
The Guitar & Jazz Quartet features Ithaca six-stringer Steve Brown as well as Walter White, Dino Losito and Tom Killian.

Bells & Motley in L’pool
The husband-and-wife folk duo known as the Bells & Motley Consort plays a free concert at 2 p.m. Sunday Jan. 16, at Liverpool Public Library, 310 Tulip St. in the village; 457-0310 or lpl.org.
The kick-off for the library’s fourth annual Folk Music Series, Sunday’s concert will focus on British, French and Asian folk music traditions.
While familiar to most audiences for their work with Renaissance and medieval music, the Bromkas have been exploring many forms of world music over the years. They play some truly exotic instruments such as hurdy gurdy, dulcimer, bagpipes, and Celtic Harp augmented for this concert with Chinese harp (guzheng) and fiddle (erhu), Turkish lutes (oud and baglama) Mideastern zither (kanun), and a raft of percussion.
