The Cicero-North Syracuse High School Class of 2010 held its commencement ceremony at 6 p.m. Friday June 25 at the Oncenter’s War Memorial in downtown Syracuse.
Hundreds of C-NS graduates walked across the stage as they accepted their diplomas and prepared for life after high school.
North Syracuse Central School District Superintendent Dr. Jerome Melvin gave the following message to the C-NS Class of 2010 in the Star-Review’s June 16 graduation special section:
To the Northstars:
I have been privileged, with the exception of a five-year period, to observe this class since they first entered kindergarten in 1997.
The Class of 2010 has performed exceptionally well in academics, extracurricular activities, and athletics. In addition, members of the class have been very involved in community activities, including fund raising for many worthy causes, and helping those in need.
I wish them the very best in the years ahead.
They will be missed!
