The proclamation states the village of Baldwinsville will commemorate Memorial Day on the traditional day of remembrance, May 30, which falls on Sunday this year. Baldwinsville is one of few communities that honors veterans on the traditional Memorial Day ordered by General John A. Logan on May 5, 1968. This year’s parade begins at 5 p.m. followed by ceremonies at St. Mary’s and Riverview cemeteries.
