The Elbridge Free Library, along with local community groups such as Library Knitting Group, Brick Church Community Knitting Group and many other citizens, were selected by Special Olympics coordinators to help make scarves for the contestants participating in the Special Olympics. This year’s Special Olympics are being held Feb. 5 and 6 at the Onondaga County War Memorial. Participants wear the red and teal scarves during the opening ceremony of the winter games.
The library was a drop-off point for these beautiful scarves made by the generous crafters. Staff and trustees want to thank all of the generous and thoughtful crafters who made and donated more than 60 scarves.
